Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY (2003).

Master of Educational Leadership and Policy, UNIVERSITY OF UTAH (2010).

Master of Marriage and Family Therapy, NORTHCENTRAL UNIVERSITY (2023).

Michelle is currently working on her master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. She most recently worked in the public education system for over 17 years. She has always enjoyed working with children that struggle to meet social norms in their behavior, first as a classroom teacher and then as an administrator. It is this love that brings her to the therapy room.

Along with her love of working with children, Michelle enjoys working with their parents and helping them learn how to better relate and communicate with their child. She also enjoys working with individuals and couples striving to navigate through this messy thing called ‘life.’ Michelle’s focus is a strengths-based approach applying Solution Focused Therapy as she helps clients discover/rediscover their strengths and talents to help them through ‘the messy parts.’

When Michelle has some free time, she can be found reading a good book, hiking (with a good book in her pack because you never know when the urge is going to hit you), quilting (especially with friends), putting together a fun set of Legos, or her favorite thing – spending time with her family. Michelle loves to spend time in the mountains and tries to hug a tree as often as possible.
