Hannah specializes in working with individuals and couples on difficulties related to trauma processing and healing, attachment and codependency, women’s issues, relationship and intimacy issues, spiritual issues, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. She firmly believes in the importance of an embodied life and strives to help her clients recover and build a wholistic connection with their body, emotions, and spirit.
Hannah has over five years of experience working in the field of mental health. She volunteered weekly with developmentally disabled and behaviorally challenged children, elderly individuals, and veterans. She also worked in a residential facility for adolescents, with community members and adolescent boys who were on court-ordered treatment. Most recently, she has worked with children and families who are facing attachment issues, behavioral difficulties, LGBTQIA+ exploration, and Covid-19 related stress.
Hannah primarily uses somatic and experiential methods with her clients. She is trained in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Brainspotting, Dalectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, and Expressive Arts Therapy, and frequently incorporates these into her sessions. She approaches each case from a client-centered perspective, working with the client to create a treatment plan best suited to their needs and goals.
In her leisure time, Hannah loves to explore the great outdoors. She and her husband moved to Utah to rock climb, hike, and slackline. When relaxing, Hannah knits and watches movies with her rescue kitties Stella and Luna.
