Ashley loves being a therapist. She has big passion for helping clients improve parent- child relationships and other close relationships, including premarital counseling. She has helped people struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, hard-to-break habits, self-image, and more.

She sees her client’s trust as an important responsibility and honor. It is important to her that she meets her clients where they are. She believes her clients deserve to be respected for their perspectives and the unique life experiences they bring to the therapy room. She has worked with clients of various faiths, beliefs, backgrounds, cultures, and values.

Ashley approaches her clients with compassion, knowing that many of those she has the privilege of sitting with are overwhelmed with pain, hopelessness, trauma, and despair. At the same time, she believes in life’s ability to foster change and healing, even among the extreme diculties that can arise. She has seen that people can become more resilient, stronger, happier, and wiser in their journey through and on the other side of struggles. She finds great satisfaction in her role as their guide toward this end.

When not in the therapy room, Ashley loves to be active or be with people, especially her family. Houseplants, sunrises, silly jokes, deep breaths, early bedtimes, and nourishing food are some of her favorite details of life.
