Education & Experience

Master of Social Work, UTAH STATE UNIVERSITY (2026).
Abbie is passionate about supporting couples, teens, and adults as they navigate relationship challenges, marriage and divorce, family dynamics, life and faith transitions, identity exploration, ADHD, and symptoms of anxiety and depression. She is especially dedicated to creating safe, affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals, as well as empowering environments for individuals reconnecting with their voice, values, and sense of self. Abbie also has a strong interest in helping clients clarify their values, work through ambivalence, and make intentional decisions that support both their own growth and the well-being of their relationships and communities.
Her clinical experience includes working in adolescent residential treatment, conducting neuropsychological assessments as a psychometrist, and providing school-based social work services in junior high and high school settings in the Salt Lake Valley. Abbie integrates evidence-based practices including mindfulness, motivational interviewing, CBT, person-centered care, and trauma-informed, strengths-based, empowerment-based, and family systems approaches.
Outside of the office, Abbie enjoys paddle boarding and sunshine, traveling, trying new foods, curling up with a good book, watching historical dramas (balanced by some reality TV), and cuddling with her partner and pet cat. She also loves going to the movies, practicing beginner karate, and unapologetically nerding out over Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, and other sci-fi and fantasy adventures. If there’s a sword fight or epic quest, chances are she’s in!
