Kristin has specialized in working with trauma related issues and addictive process issues. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. She is experienced in working with PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorders, substance use disorders and all manner of addictive process disorders.

Kristin has over 25 years of working in the mental health field in a number of different roles. She began her career providing direct care to individuals with chronic, pervasive, debilitating mental health issues living in group homes. She has worked within the treatment foster care system with children and families, and provided therapy for individuals within the federal criminal justice system struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. She worked with the state of NM in writing and implementing positive behavioral support plans to individuals and their care providers under state programs. She has run residential and outpatient treatment programs, and worked as an independently licensed psychotherapist. She is knowledgeable about psychopharmacology and works well coordinating care with other providers. When Kristin is not at work she enjoys backpacking, hiking, camping, paddle boarding and playing in the great outdoors with her family. She did volunteer search and rescue in NM before moving to Utah 6 years ago. She is married to a combat veteran, and they have a VERY active child she chose to have later in life, who keeps her on her toes. She has an easy going and accepting approach to life and a genuine love for the therapeutic process.
