Marriage & Family Therapy Intern
Philosophy
“I believe people generally behave in ways that make sense in the context of their emotional needs, experiences, and relationships. Once people understand those patterns, clarify what they want, and develop the emotional and behavioral tools necessary, they can move forward to be the person they want to be, and have the relationships they want to have.”

Education & Experience
Bachelor of Science in Family Studies, WEBER STATE UNIVERSITY (2023).
Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy, ABILENE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY (2028).
The relationships you have with others and the relationship you have with yourself are some of the most important aspects of life. My goal is to help people reach their goals when it comes to what they want those relationships to look like. I believe that everything anyone does makes sense in the context of their situation, and by developing understanding of ourselves and each other, we can resolve many of the conflicts we face.
I started my undergrad going into medicine, but after taking a human development class I realized that people’s behaviors and family systems were WAY more interesting than sicknesses and broken bones. My passion is in human relationships and in helping others understand themselves and the people around them better. I come from an arranged marriage (mostly joking) and love working with couples who are trying to improve their relationship.
To me, variety is the spice of life, which has led me to develop a wide range of interests. From movies and sports to audiobooks and dance, I enjoy exploring them all. I also love traveling the world with my wife and daughter, and we are usually counting down the days until our next adventure. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with the people I love. That appreciation for connection is also what motivates me to help others build and strengthen the relationships that are meaningful to them.
