Anrew’s passion for therapy began in 2020 after seeking counseling as a young adult. The experience was transformative and inspired him to pursue psychology at Weber State University before ultimately earning his degree in social work, where he was trained in a client-centered, strengths-based, and person-in-environment approach. Andrew believes that clients are the experts on their own lives and strives to help them recognize their strengths, navigate life’s challenges, and create meaningful change.

Before joining Carbajal Counseling, Andrew spent four years working at a residential treatment center for adolescent boys experiencing behavioral, mental health, and substance use challenges. There, he learned the importance of meeting people where they are rather than lecturing or forcing change. His work focused on helping young men build self-discipline, strengthen communication skills, and develop a greater sense of purpose and direction.

Outside the office, Andrew enjoys strength training, spending time outdoors, cooking, reading, and making memories with his fiancée, young son, and their two dogs.
